If I had a small santa hat, I reckon I could have popped it on this fellas head. They sit totally still for ages......so obliging for long exposures

It does, doesn't it? . It's interesting really coz I had the outside light on, so it must have been shining in that 1 eye and the other was in the shade, so uneven pupils

Grevillea Superb flower in my garden. Started raining about 10 mins after I took this and hasn't stopped yet. We need it. My dam is almost empty

We've had 4 inches/100mm rain since I took the last shot. This was a rare dry period yesterday, but very misty in the low cloud up in the hills
