13th Nov...316/365.....sunflower bud

My sunflowers are in bloom. Haven't had as much success with them this year as I did last year, but the ones I have are beautiful

15th Nov 318/365....It's hot mum, so I'll go for a swim today

Got out early this morning, to take the dog out before it got too hot. It was already hot :( Has gotten to 41degC here today and predicted hotter tomorrow. Not much enthusiasm to do anything but sit and drink cold water

I was going to say "WOW" for the sunflower shot and then the dog came along and now I don't know how to express myself!!

They are both gorgeous.

To be honest David, I thought the angles were off a bit too, but by the time I'd posted it I really didn't feel like re-doing it. I should, I know, but some days........I also think I should have pushed the tallest glass into the centre a bit.

I can certainly relate to those days. Some of them feel like I'm just going through the motions (haphazardly at that) just to have a picture for the day.

You're still taking some pretty flipping' nice shots. Catching back up is fun; that, and I like flooding your notes with likes. LoL. Can't help it. :)

18th Nov....321/365......antique time

A ladies watch my mother in law gave me. I hope to be able to get it repaired and use it. It is just beautiful

Very nice! I love watches. Would love to see inside the back if you ever open it up. Is it wound up tight and not running? Might be as easy as having a good cleaning and the spring unwound and reset.

The hinge on the bottom of the case is broken David. Took it to an antique place that does repairs and was told it's not worth repairing. I'm going to hang on to it and see if I can get another case. That way I can get the inners swapped into it at less cost. It WAS still working but lost abt 10 mins in every 24hrs (I was told) but I have not tried it as yet myself.

I may take it to another antique jewellers if I can find one that does repairs. Second opinion ;)
