Went sailing. Very quiet on the water. Overcast and pleasantly cool. Not much happening for photos, but there is always the shag party on the channel marker
Not easy to get good in focus shots from a moving object

I have no idea what was going on here but this chopper flew over and I watched it hover over our place. It went off a bit and came back (during which time I grabbed my camera) and again hovered and I could see the fellow taking photos. I am sure he MUST have seen me taking his photo. I wonder if he had "lens envy" coz mine was bigger They then disappeared.

around here in the late summer they have aircraft looking for marijuana plots.
We get that too. The police helicopters were out just recently looking for crops. I got a shot a few years ago of a police chopper with a big bundle of maijuana plants tied to the skids. Some of the land around here is pretty steep and heavily forested, so access is hard.
