Vincent 2016 whenever possible

I was trying a light photography pack for the summer weather. The A7S, with the Osawa 28mm f2.8, Konica 40mm f1.8 pancake and Osawa 80-205mm f4.5. These are all old manual lenses, their main weight comes from the metal build and mainly they cost me less then 50EUR each.
I had some doubts on the 80-205mm on the long side, so decided to do a quick test on the local graveyard (my first tests might have been tainted by lack of knowledge of photography).
Works for me:

On the test of the 11-16, I decided to do some Full Frame 16mm pictures. Ended up trying bugs on lavender, with a lot of crop:

Standard the whitebalance was too yellow, but I kept it for some pictures:

Then I went to the more cool (closer to reality):

In the past I always had trouble to get butterflies flying. It seems this is a set-up that works, true you need a butterfly you can approach and the keeper rate is pretty low.
I was actually amazed how shallow the depth of field is at 16mm minimum focus distance (with the adaptor it is not clear but I estimate somewhere f9 or f11).

Evening light on opening flower:

I had been chasing animals, .. and decided not to turn the shutter speed down for the macro setting. So a bit high on ISO, I know, more proof I`m not there yet.
This is taken with a Kenko 2X extender and my Osawa 80-205, not a traditional set-up.

I went back to the deer park I stayed in earlier this year, in a park, through a window, more cheating is not possible, but:

I was staking out this fellow to see where he lives (this is an older photo):

and get a better shot at him, preferred in flight.
The sun was lovely:

After quite a wait I had put all my gear away since it was too dark and then he showed up, saw me and flew away in a way that left me clueless on normal habits.

We went back to the deer park we had slept in; to see Bambi (you need the right season):

This one walked near us during a lunch break, I went after it hiding behind agricultural artifacts, but could not get close enough for very good images with 300mm.

Mid of August I saw the signs of the end of summer, I took some time to record them:

The birds are gathering:

The grapes are getting ripe:

The leaves are changing:
