View NX2 2.7.2 Distortion Correction?

Does this updated View NX2 software do distortion corrections for the D7100,I did some searches with mixed results,hoping one of you folks can help with the correct answers.Thanks new D7100 owner.

The 7100 does not need distortion correction. Distortion correction apply to lenses, not bodies.

I think I worded this question wrong I have read the manual cover to cover and I know distortion correction is for lenses.When I'm shooting in raw with correction turned on does it actually do the corrections or is this just for jpegs? I see no distortion correction in View NX2,is this ? make more cense now?

the corrections are applied to the jpegs only. Raws don't have any corrections applied (I think).
