Vanguard SBH-100

Anyone here using the SBH-100 ball head? I have a new pair of tripod legs coming, but I am on the hunt for a good quality BH that won't break the bank.

This one is on the short list.

Thanks for the input Brad. I took your lead and went the SBH-250 route. I didn't see the 250 on their homepage, but I like the more robust build over the 100.

I have and use daily the 100, but I have a lightish load (5200/55-200). I have found all the Vanguard products (tripod/monopod/ballhead) to be well worth every cent spent. The only downside of the company is their product availability, which can be iffy.

I am going to put the BH on a Manfrotto tripod. I had been eyeing the Vanguard tripod but a buddy sold me an unused Manfrotto for dirt cheap.

I have my SBH-250 sitting on a Vanguard Abeo 323AB, big and solid. The ballhead is capable of holding a lot more than what I have at the moment. For the price I think it is a fantastic bit of gear.
Its a world of difference to the lightweight Slik I was previously using.

I will be putting it atop the 055xprob legs I bought off a buddy. The legs should get here Monday. The ballhead hopefully will get here then too.
