Upgrade to the 7000? Good deal?

I'm resigned to waiting up to another 6 months to find out. I want to be satisfied with my next purchase for at least 5 years. All depends on what you need now.

It's probably going to be the same sensor as seen in the 3200 or something. Sony's been doing work on chips, so I'm guessing it would be that new 24mpx sensor. I would assume, since it all trickles down anyway... Er...well I dunno. either way, I'll buy it and it'll be brilliant. I doubt we'll see something that's worse than the current model.

It will be interesting to see how that sensor performs in the D3200 soon. If they do put it in an upgraded body, we will aready know if it is worth the investment. This delay may be a good thing. At least when we bought the D51oo we already knew the sensor performance.

Haha thanks. This is my logic on the sensor as well.. it will also give me more time to save up. And if the sensor stinks, well the old 7000 used will be cheaper. We will win either way
