Update on my wife

We went up to Rochester today hoping to have Pat's stitches taken out, but they want to leave them in until Aug 4th. On the upside, everyone is pleased with the way she is healing so it's all good. Pat has been sleeping on the couch so she won't roll over on her left side. She want's to get back to the bed, but I'm not in a hurry because as long as she's on the couch, the cats don't come up at 5am to get me up for breakfast.

That is good news,
One thing you could try, is put some pillows down one side of the bed to stop your wife rolling on to her left side.

That's what the back of the couch is for. She flops back and forth so much she would be knocking the pillows on the floor. ;)

GOOD NEWS!!!! Pat is cancer free and won't need another checkup until May. Mercy Hosp. in Mason City wants to put in a defibulater (sp?) for her heart. Seems that one side is beating 180 milliseconds behind the other when normal is 120. We were supposed to be put on a waiting list for next year sometime, but a cancellation has them wanting to put it in next Tue. Now we are in a rush to get all her lab work done.

Whew! What a year this has been. HAPPY AND SAFE HOLIDAYS TO ALL! I'm asking everyone here to Stand With Standing Rock because you can't drink oil. The clean drinking water of over 18 million people are at risk.
