Unorthodox lighting

Some of the images that I took with a client during the previous weekend was in a sacred shrine here in Japan. Since they prohibit people from using tripods, I found some creative ways to still use my strobe and vagabond power supply.

Cleansing well located in a shaded area. I thought it was a very unique and interesting subject to take so I plugged my strobe inside the bag and place the strobe near the bamboo.

So, here is the final image. Not the best image but I thought it was a pretty cool subject.

Nice photo and nice set up, thinking out of the box :)

I am not sure about the composition with this though, would it being on more of an angle have been better so that you could see up into the bamboo spout alittle bit more?
Definitely an interesting subject.

Figured this was a photo feedback segement so thats my feedback ;)

Thanks for your feedback Scott. I could not decide which thread to post it on so I guess it's time for me to start a 365 or post whenever I can type to include the miscellaneous pictures that I encounter.
