Trouble Gripping the d7100

I'd suggest battery grip too. Or what about one of those hand straps? It attaches to the camera so you can slide your hand through (goes right over the knuckles). That might not be the solution but could be helpful.

I'd also suggest the battery grip. I have small/medium hands, and I also find the D7100 a tad small. I find when shooting, my little finger on the right hand is often curled index the camera. It's just getting used to it.

Thanks for the helpful suggestions.

Definitely the battery grip. I'm over six feet tall as well and while I am comfortable with gripping my d7100 I found that, after borrowing my fathers battery grip for a camping trip, my camera became a lot more friendly in regards to holding it.

Not familiar with the D7100 but I found with my D3100 that the best solution was a grip. Not only does it let you double your battery power but it helps the balance when using heavier lenses. It brings more weight to the part you're holding and helps eliminate camera shake.

I find that the inside of the grip is a little uncomfortable for me. There is a ridge next to the groves for your fingers. The grip may help.

Peace
