I would definitely look at something that has an arca swiss compatible plate. That is the standard that is by far the most commonly used, and mounting plates are available everywhere for very reasonable prices. Benro is another company that offers decent quality at a decent price in tripods. The big question is if you want a large, sturdy, but somewhat heavy tripod, or smaller, easier to carry that doesn't provide as much steadiness. You can have small /light, you can have extremely stable/steady, but you can't have both.
I do mostly wildlife/nature photography. I have a fairly large, Benro with a large/heavy gimbal head. I'm not overly happy about carrying it around for miles at a time (I'm in my 70s), but I really appreciate the stability it provides when I use it. I have access to a decent, much smaller, lightweight tripod, but rarely use it. Your mileage may vary depending on usage and personal preferences. I less stable tripod that you will use is better than a sturdy tripod sitting in the trunk of your car.
As for the phone, I have no idea other than suggest get the tripod you want for your camera and then get an inexpensive adapter from Amazon or a camera store that will hold your phone and has an arca swiss mount. Those are available for not much money.
