Trade section

Has there ever been a discussion on having a trade section here as well as a sell? Just wondering.

You can offer something to sell, and I doubt anyone would complain if you additionally said you'd be willing to accept a fair trade in the same ad...

The way the market system is set up here I don't think it will allow for trades. This forum uses a marketing application, not associated with Nikonites directly, for selling your item and handling payment transactions.

Trades would have to be done directly between two individuals.

I have also seen some pay it forwards before. Maybe a general trade/pay it forward entry.

Well, just wondering. I have a few things, photo related I would like to trade instead of selling. I know there can be obvious problems with this.

I was thinking of adding a "or trade" offer when I post something to sell. But I didn't want to do so without mod/admin thoughts first.
