It seems cool if it's multi-use of course. Probably cheaper than purchasing and maintaing a RC version.

Many applications, recreation, sports, real estate/commercial photography, etc.

Expensive for a 1-trick pony, but a very cool concept! Now if you could hang it from a string/cable and cause it to remote fire as well...

Heck, you could do your own Google maps style of walk through on a house or something with a little tweaking.

Agree. Too expensive but does take very interesting shots. I wonder what happens if you drop it from a building.

If I had one of these, I'll probably tie a string on it. Hate to loose a $600 camera over the Grand Canyon. :p
