The other day, early in the morning I walked around with my beloved daughter enjoying the morning sun. I saw some horses. I took photos and I told my daughter that I've never touched a horse in my life. She laughed so sweet at me at me and said that I should try and she is beside me so I must not be scared. It was a great feeling to feel a horse. This was the horse I felt the very first tome with my bare hands. Thanks my dear daughter that you made me do this.
Etched and filled with gold leaf, Khao Chi Chan Buddha image is over 100 meters high. It was created in 1996 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the coronation of King Bhumipol. The name of the monument in Thai translates to "Buddha is the prophet who enlightens and shines , like a diamond"
The image was drawn using lasers and computer software before being sculpted into the rock in stages. It is thought to be the largest carved Buddha image in the world. The mountain on which the image is shown can be sen for many miles around, and therefore makes a superb landmark for exploring the delightful local countryside.
