I use this method for string changes. I believe Taylor modified a Black & Decker cordless screwdriver to rotate faster than normal.

They are using a D'Addario TurboTune Peg Winder. The winder is made to be taken apart into two pieces. One of the pieces has a metal bit which can be inserted into a cordless screw driver.
