Well went to the doctor today. They did not like what they saw. The left leg with all the bruising they felt would be okay, but the right leg was the one they were concerned with. The pain got really bad Sunday after church.

The Doctor ordered x-rays of the knee, thy and the pelvis. If they show a definitive break it is off to an orthopedic doctor. If not I get to do an MRI. X-Rays do not do as well with finding fractures of the pelvis... but on the upside, it could be just a bone bruise and the MRI will show that too. I am hoping for the bruise.

But no results yet, but they did give me some pain meds so I can move. The doctor said that it is not uncommon for people to walk with a fractured Pelvis for some time. So I am praying for a bone bruise.

When stuff like this happens I just hang on to my faith and remember Romans 8:28 and just settle in until I know something and then do what is required...

It kind of limits my field of view for photos... But that is okay. I will work on something. The dog still needs to go out.

And just for those that actually thought I was break dancing... Have you seen my Avatar? I was just kidding :playful::hurt:

Well, here's to hoping that this is just a bone bruise too. You know what they say about lemons and lemonade. BTW, I hear lots of turkey and stuffing make bone bruises heal faster! Chin up Dan.

God knows the way through the wilderness. All we have to do is follow. Just sit back and let others wait on you for the next few days. Ha! If push comes to shove on your photos, see if you can use that new lens to take a photo of one of your toes each day. That will get you through 10 days at least. :encouragement:

Dear Lord,
I pray for Dan in his hour of need.
May he be aware of Your hand holding him and encouraging him as he now tests, and allow his healing to begin.
Please heal Dan of the pain from his fall.
Please heal and touch and restore his hip and leg.
Lord help him to change areas in his life that will aid healing.
Come renew not only Dan's body but his mind and heart also.
May Dan find new peace.

Amen.

Well I got the report on the x-rays today. They look ok. Go for an MRI tomorrow afternoon to confirm that there is not any other damage the x-ray could not see... I am praying it is something minor like a bone bruise. Until I get confirmation i am taking it easy. Still hurts like whoda thought, but the pain pills have kept it at bay.

Good luck,hope its ok,my doctor told me i had fractured a bone in the top of my leg a few years ago,had to make a decision as the hospital was in the middle of a major super bug infection,two patients had died and things looked bad fo a few others,so i didnt go::what::it was so bad in bed if i wanted to move it i had to lift it with the other one.

What i didnt know until later was when you get in the ambulance you have the right to say which hospital you want.

I am at a loss for words here... I was in the tube about 45 minutes today. Hopefully we will find out something Friday or early next week. I continue to pray that it is just a bad bone bruise. Tomorrow working on the homeopathic approach have have a great Thanksgiving dinner with my family.
