The best walk around landscape lens -- ever :-)

Just for discussion, what would you consider for a wide angle of around 12 mm for a FX camera that don't break your bank?

12mm on a full-frame body is fisheye. I suspect you don't really want a fisheye lens but, if you do, Nikon makes the 13mm f/5.6 AI-S. A copy sold a few years ago on eBay for something like $20,000 as I recall. Samyang makes something similar, a 12mm f/2.8 for around $500, but it will be manual focus.

Just went crazy and ordered that 14mm
Well, just a humble Samyang so my wallet survived the blast.....

And got an oldie. The 28-200 zoom of the 90ies, very much exited how this performs out in the field.

Paul, so this Samyang fisheye lens 12mm f.2.8 can be mounted directly onto the D610? There are various names, such as Rokinon, Fuji, etc. I suppose they are the same?
