One of the saddest things regarding my switch from Sony/Minolta A mount back to Nikon F mount is my brilliant collection of M42 glass is sitting idle.
M42 adapter to A mount was awesome....no lens in the adapter, infinity focus. It is enough to have me from time to time think about a new A99 as I also still have quite a collection of A mount Minolta Maxxum glass.....but I made my decision to switch back to Nikon and I don't want to muddy the waters. Nikon AF-c blows A mount away/no A mount camera holds focus of fast action like a Nikon pro cam....and that is of utmost importance to me.
I guess I missed posting some of these earlier. The newly renovated Albright Visitors Center at Mammoth in Yellowstone NP. With the 18-35 mostly at 18mm and all with available light indoors.
She has the most gorgeous face! Elk are such majestic animals. These elk are on a wildlife preserve. Elk are extirpated in Iowa though they are still found in South Dakota and Nebraska. About 10 years ago a poacher shot and killed one of the bulls and just left it to die. In my mind at least, that is tantamount to murder. The elk's head is mounted in the visitor's center as a reminder.
Forgot about this thread, appears I have never entered a pic? Re post from my basketball thread in the sports forum here.
