(4th Moon, day 4 or 5)
Tomb Sweeping Day is a traditional Chinese festival celebrated on the 104th day after the
winter solstice.
The living descendants pay respect and homage to all ancestors, including same age or younger generations of ancestors.
It is a day to remember and honour one's ancestors at grave sites by sweeping the tombs and offering food, tea, wine, chopsticks to eat the food with and by praying.
Joss paper accessories will be offered to the ancestors as well.
While bland food is placed by the tombs on Tomb Sweeping Day, the Chinese regularly provide scrumptious offerings to their ancestors at altar tables in their homes.

It a part of my family. On the right sitting is my father-in-law. A great man. He runs a Tapioca Business. Next to him standing is his one of his sister. She lives with my family. Great old lady. Chines people can't show their feeling easily. When I married into the family and I knew her better. I gave her a hug saying that I love here. First she was a bit shocked, but afterwards she her eyes filled up with tears of joy. I changed a bit in the family about showing some feelings and saying it out as well.
The man in blue shirt is his brother. He works as the header of the Justics Department in th eGovernment. Next to him his wife an dhis son, who is a photographer, and he boy standing is his brother. He is studying Computer programmer.
The man standing and putting down pole is a very close friend of our family. My family fed them when they came from China with nothing but their naked life 70 years ago. The whole family from them are as same as our relatives.
Other family members didn't arrive at the time I took this photo. Our family is spred out all over Thailand and they need longer to come. But I really enjoy family days. It is every time such a god blessed day.
