Test shots from 16-35mm VR Nikkor

Here are some 'quick' test shots with my new lens.

They look OK to me...What's your impression of the lens..

It's nice and wide. Fast focus. Nice and sharp. Haven't tested it in ideal lighting yet as its clear skies and 42 deg celcius I am struggling to stay awake. Going 24hrs with no sleep.

Also I just noticed there is some slight vignetting from the CP when it is attached.

No editing except abit of lightening.

You shouldn't leave beer sitting around like that....LOL..
That's not bad for 16mm, a little bit of pincushion distortion on the ceiling line

Yeah I didn't apply the PS lens correction but should do next time.

I have a question I do a lot of dog photography, esp for rescue groups. I love the angle on the pup shots. Is it due to the wide angle? I sure can't get that with my 50mm lens. They are awesome.

Okay, erase that. THAT is over my budget. But I love the pup shots.

Wide angle used close up = perspective distortion...that is what I see. Just saying...of course that is what you could have intended.

Yeah I was just seeing what the effect would be like, and I think it works well in some circumstances.
