Ted's Miscellaneous Mirrorless Marauding

Went out for a walk today. I brought my NEX 3NL with my new Sony 35/1.8 lens. Overall, I am pleased with the combination. I believe that my Nikons are more forgiving in AF, but that just means I have to practice more, and take more time per photo. All in all, it just makes me want my 7AII more.

For discussion purposes (this photo is posted above), more than any photo I've taken with the Sony system, this photo has sold me on the brand's potential. Just my opinion.

Went to the Green Cay Wetlands Preserve today. It was a beautiful day for photos... that was the good news. The bad news was that after the first few photos, I inadvertantly hit the ISO button on the 3NL (which is in a terrible location) and changed my ISO from the intended 200 to 1600! I would never shoot at 1600. So again, I had to make lemonade. I believe what saved my day was the quality of the 35/1.8 lens I was using. I just have to be more aware of my settings in the future.

Here are 3 handheld Panos.

Nice shots Ted. You should have let me know you were going to Green Cay, I would have met you there. We pedaled aimlessly yesterday and wound up at La Bamba for supper.

Edit: I try to stay away from Green Cay and Wako on weekends, but I would have made an exception for you.
