I avoid Auto-ISO. I try to use ISO 100 in every possible case.

I rarely take pictures at night....so I do the same....100-200 works fine in most cases. Unless I'm indoors with poor lighting.

Try 100 at night with a tripod and remote. You may be surprised.

I agree....tripods work wonders....and allow slower shutter speeds....bulb is great for certail things like fireworks, etc.
