The picture above is obviously post-processed. But, the reason may not be so apparent. Don't you just love PS! In the comparison below, note the differences in the before and the after.
In the original photo, I had inadvertently left the sun shade on the lens. The result is the two black triangles in the top right and lower left corners. To crop them out would really cut the photo down and I'd lose a lot of the building. Enter PhotoShop. Cloning areas near those corners and converting to B&W saves the day (as least in my opinion). I guess anything can be fixed.
