There are many programs that will change perspective. For one, Photoshop has the feature. For this example, I used DxO.

I'm getting to like my 16-35 wide angle zoom and the effects that come from a super-wide. I also like straight lines and right angles.

Below are 2 examples of the same photo taken with my 16-35.

#1 is pretty much as it came out of the camera. And, #2 has been "corrected".

Which effect do you prefer? Please only consider the angle effects vs realistic representation of the scene.

#2 for me. We used to be able to do this with view cameras. But we ran into limitations that today's softwares can surpass. Like the lens could not cover enough lens board displacement before we'd run into heavy vignetting. Thanks for digital imaging technology.

I like the straight lines of 2, but the cost is loosing a lot of foreground.

On the Road Again! Well, I'm leaving tomorrow morning at 8am and expecting to arrive in Cleveland by 6am on Monday morning.

If I'm really fortunate, I might find something to photograph on the way. I'll return to FLA after Thanksgiving.
