post processing has really hurt the sky, you can really tell around the palm trees, a lighter touch would be preferred, also, consider adding a bit of life into the images, people can liven up the image.

Thanks. I had walked outside and was running a little late for church. I saw the moon and ran back in and grabbed my camera and really rushed it. I really wanted one that showed the craters, like yours, but I didn't set up correctly. Maybe next month.

I saw a good looking possible this am on the way to work... parked and looked for the moon and the trees around teh plant were blocking it!! Darn.. maybe tonight from home..

The only one I tried with good craters was that 3/4 moon and off on the darker (and angled edge) I have NOT been able to dupe that on the full moon, suspecting just too bright...

Nice Ted,

I got my 55-300 tonight... Moon shots to be posted tomorrow were taken with it and I will do a few test shots with it at different focal lengths
