Scooted out to a small town that I had photographed a few years ago. I used my D5100 in RAW and bracketed. I like this batch better than those from a few years ago.

These are great Ted. You've greatly enhanced the shadow detail and color while keeping them "real", nice work!

Today was ZOO DAY. Downside was the heat. Many of the animals avoided the sun and stayed inside. It was hard to get the critters to pose too. I've broken the session into groups. Today will be "African".

OK, I know you folks aren't too crazy about bridges, but I like 'em and this one is special. It is the Brookside Park bridge that spans over the zoo. Back in the late teens and early twenties, when my dad was a kid, he and his friends used to climb down this bridge to go swimming in the park pool. That was almost 100 years ago. Anyway, here's the Brookside Park Bridge.

Believers in evolution always talk about the survival of the fittest and how animals changed to fit the changing environments. Like dinosaurs becoming birds, etc. What about the giraffe? Why haven't they ever found a shorter necked giraffe? Or, a shorter legged giraffe? There's no explanation from evolutionists concerning the giraffe. Hmmmm, wonder why.
