Day Trip to Kent State University
KSU is my alma mater. I try to get there a few times during my seasonal visits to Ohio. Most of you are too young to remember, but in 1970, the National Guard killed 4 protesting students and wounded many more. I was there at the time and it was a very trying time. Living under martial law for almost 5 months makes me appreciate the freedoms we have. I digress, I took some photos and I thought I'd share some of them.
The National Guard forced protesters up this hill to the corner of the building on the hill.

The protesters, followed by the National Guard came over this slope and down the hill to a parking lot.

Another view. The National Guard stopped on top of the hill and fired down in to the protesters.
