Love the farm equipment gravyard!

Acres of old dead tractors. Just happened to see it on the side of the road. I couldn't get inside the fence. The house looked like something out of a movie, where they have all the chains and surgery tools in basement. I looked for the hockey mask.

This is a test posting.

Jeff.... what do you set the RESOLUTION at when sizing the photo?

I think the 100 dpi one looks better than the other. I've read that screen resolution does not go over 72 dpi. This is what I use.

OK, I'll start using 100dpi with a long edge of 1200.

How are you able to tell what the dpi is for each photo?

Day Trip to Kent State University

KSU is my alma mater. I try to get there a few times during my seasonal visits to Ohio. Most of you are too young to remember, but in 1970, the National Guard killed 4 protesting students and wounded many more. I was there at the time and it was a very trying time. Living under martial law for almost 5 months makes me appreciate the freedoms we have. I digress, I took some photos and I thought I'd share some of them.

The National Guard forced protesters up this hill to the corner of the building on the hill.

Here's one of the entrances.

I tried something new with this one.

The protesters, followed by the National Guard came over this slope and down the hill to a parking lot.

Another view. The National Guard stopped on top of the hill and fired down in to the protesters.

This is a fun picture. I really like the colors.

I stopped to rest and enjoy Brady Lake.

And last, but not least, this is a church in Hudson, Ohio.

I went for a ride through the park today.

Scooter + camera + good weather = Great Day

Covered bridge in the park.

View attachment 13779

It's the only covered bridge in the area.

View attachment 13780

This is the side of the bridge that most people don't see. Obviously, not well maintained.

Railroad bridge over the parkway.

Pretty sturdy structure.

Waiting for a train.

Resting within the trees.

This was the highlight of my day. I don't get to see deer often. This was a treat.

View attachment 13786

The deer didn't appear to be afraid and I was able to get close.
