I went out to look at the product support page to see about lenses that are compatible with the Z cameras. Initially there were very few, but now they have made a bunch of changes in the firmware and most new lenses are available. The detail section explains compatibility.

I think most should be ok on the Z50 as well,i have a fancy for a 100-400 but it will most likely be Sigma, Tamron are not compatible with the Nikon V2 via the FT-1.

I would think they would be as well. As for the Sigma lenses... I have heard that they have experienced less issues then the Tamron lenses, but I do not have any Sigma lenses to validate that.
