Works for me! I like the dramatic "heartwood" on the right...lots of suggestive form in the middle and on the left...it feels like wood to me...excellent control of DOF - I would guess a telephoto shot??? A+

Thank you so much for your kind comments, I took this shot with a D300 & 70-200vr @ 200mm.
