Street Photography - A tale of two crops

I try to crop in camera. The shots below are from the same shot.
I cropped a little to frame the bus stop in better. As I was working with the image, I though a closeup seemed more powerful.

Any opinions on which version below you like best?

If street the first one tells a story - Nobody cares each other, look each other, etc.. - Loneliness even people around

#1 tells a story. #2 without #1 is a bit lost. I thnk you're on to someting though. What it needs is for #1 to be a life size print so you can see the detail of #2 in #1. My eye anyway.
