Bugger the storm has died down at the 12km mark. Fingers crossed it picks up again and starts producing lightning.

Well we have another storm going past us in the South, went up to get a few shots and low and behold after 3 shots the battery is dead. Well atleast I know with an EN-EL18 and En-EL16 they will last approximately 1 week using onboard flash. Just need to remember my charger next time (stupid weight restrictions on the planes)...
