Hi showtime and welcome to the Nikonites Community. It dosen't matter if you'er a noob, advanced amateur, or professional. For us it's all about helping each other find answers to our questions and advance our abilities in photography. This is also a friendly and fun group. I'm sure you will enjoy the site. LOL... Those really aren't head lights, that's the latest James Bond prototype scooter, with all kinds of hidden gadgets like rockets and machine-guns. The latest in anti-roadrage gadgets. That's why he's called "showtime". :D

Yay, another D200 shooter! :) We're few and far between, eh! :) Glad you could join us, showtime. And I know I keep quoting Joseph a lot, but it's only because he reads my mind a lot.......in welcoming new Nikonites. :) lol
Somewhere there's a group of Harley FLH owners looking for their spotlights! ;)

thanks for the welcome guys :)
thats not my scooter its just one of a few that were at Brighton beach last weekend & i zapped a couple of shots as i walked past
i was trying my girlfriends D2Xs out and was just kinda shooting a few off as i walked while also seeing what settings she had in the menus
its now mine as of today so i'm looking forward to getting used to it a lot better. still have my D200 but not sure it would be worth carrying both as they are both very similar cameras from basically the same era so there isn't really any point.
went to visit my nan today & she told me that my grandad was one of the founder members of my local camera club way back in 1941!
i looked on their site & it even lists the names of the 9 founder members & he's in there :)
