Thanks Glenn. Seems to me that when my son was stationed in Northern Japan he would go snow skiing. Sounds like you need a photo road trip.

That's the key Alan "Northern". Misawa Air Base is a much colder place in Japan. I live right next to the ocean so the snow usually melts by the time it reaches our area.

Road trip would be nice as long as you rent a car or van from the military base since they provide toll tickets. Toll roads here in Japan can be expensive.

Temperature this time of the year has been surprisingly warmer than the previuos years. The projected forcast is around mid-50s Farenheit which is nice and comfortable. :D

I could burn a few gigs on the snow and ice we've had so far this year.

Images from 2007 taken with D80 ;-) guess I could find a nice white sandy beach and pretend its snow lol

That makes more sense Scott I couldn't figure out where you were finding snow! Every photo I have taken the last 3 months has been white and every photo for at least the next 3 months will be white sigh

Nikon Df, Schneider 50/1.9 Xenon with a Deckel to F-Mount adapter. This lens came with a Kodak Instamatic Reflex.

at least the snow was light and fluffy. We have a 300ft driveway. I used an electric leaf-blower to clear the snow. Long extension cord, air comes out cold, it works. The Neighbors used to think it funny, until they tried it.

Neighborhood 19th century graveyard.

Our neighborhood is built on an old Confederate Camp, some battles fought on it.

Here's a snow shot from Florida. The current temp at my house is about 25 F. And I'm not jealous of your snow, anymore...
