For some time, I started to "play" as far as I can call the D3100.Until that fascinated the fashion street in particular shoes - sneakers theme - Air Max ,Running Vintage etc.
Combined this passion with photography and I was really happy.

It's a great photo. Love the shoes, the setting, lighting, etc... but... is this an outdoors shoe? It looks like a great add photo for an outdoor shoe.

Thanks Moab Man!

No this is not outdoor shoes but for competition important is background so i mix running shoes with the nature of a tree trunk in the lake;)

Taking this opportunity - I use d3100 pictures and especially doing just shoes.
What I need to buy a lens to focus only on the shoes?

Thanks Moab Man!

I know you said you were new, so if you knew this already then I apologize.

It's not a lens you need, it's what aperture you use that will decide how much the shoe is just in focus - it's called depth of focus. The lower the number the less will be in focus except for where you focus. Higher the number, the more that will be in focus. On this shot I think the balance is great. It's clear enough to know where you are but the eye is drawn to the shoe.

I really like the shot, in my mind it brings me back to places like this that I have been.
