SLIDE--a new strap design

There must be pros and cons about this new design. The connectors certainly are different from anything I've ever seen.

1: I don't know about the rest of you, but when I watched the video, there was no sound!

2: Great design

3: $80? I don't think so!

4: Have to get both sizes in order to mix and match, which adds to cost. Not good.

The biggest fail I see is it does not perform like a sling strap. The entire strap has to rotate unlike the BR or CS. Compared to my CarrySpeed, there is some significant falsehoods in this video. The CS has a built in tripod mount and truly glides along the strap, unlike this which makes you rotate the entire strap. The CS is always in the shooting position and had the snug-up feature before this. I'm never impressed with any product that feels it needs to put down it's competitors to succeed.

Rick - like what you've experienced with carry speed, I am also a believer and a supporter of carry speed pro. It is my most comfortable strap that I have used.

Cos of this thread I will go on Monday to my favorite shop and look what they offer. Maybe I consider one for me. (carry speed pro )
