Well, it appears that with a +4 adjustment in AF fine tune, the lens is working pretty much at 100%. Much better than the 65+- that it was before. My only concern is once I go FF, the lens won't be calibrated to whatever camera that will be. But alas, first world problems, right?
The lens appears to be even 'creamier' than when I sent it in, too. Could be my imagination, too.. It's superbly sharp at f4 to f5.6 or so. Still soft at 1.4, and has some pretty extreme CA's at that aperture as well. In real pictures however, it matters little. I'm just glad that it seems to be working within tolerances now!
