As long as you nail the focus..I agree..

I haven't shot it wide open, really, but I'm not detecting any front/back-focus issues at apertures I typically use and so far no discernible chromatic aberration either, which is nice. I was really surprised to find Adobe Camera Raw has a distortion correction profile for this lens as well so, yeah, color me one happy camper!

Thank you for your previous reassurances, by the way, while I was waiting on delivery...

Love this lens...112mm@ F8

Shootraw, will you please stop posting these fantastic pics, the more you post the more I feel the onsite of a heated discussion at home concerning our next family investment! Joking aside, I am truly amazed at the quality of the results from this lens. How much post processing do you do on your pics? I am the lazy sort that rarely post processes in PS. Could you shoot some jpegs and post them here straight out the camera? I would really appreciate your help because I am seriously considering ordering this lens.

Thanks in advance
Martin

Martin, I post-process using LR5...No PS for me...In this shot I had the setting sun backlighting her hair from camera left and my strobe with a 72inch shoot-through umbrella camera right...
