All videos were done with the lens on a tripod or in my hands without the camera it's definitely not the mount
All I'm saying is you can't tell from you videos what exactly is happening and the rep from Sigma seems to agree. It's not surprising to me they don't want to commit to anything until they've had a chance to examine the lens.

I'm not sure what you were expecting but Sigma's response is entirely reasonable.

Having watched your videos, it's impossible to see the degree of movement between lens and camera body because we never see the camera body in your videos. Still, I'm not saying there isn't a problem and neither is Sigma. Their response boils down to, "send it in and we'll look at it", which doesn't surprise me. I mean, they're not going to say anything conclusive until they've had a fair chance to examine the lens.

I'd send it in and see what they say.

I didnt think it was play in the mount its the end barrel of the lens moving side to side in the main barrel,to me it looked to show that well.

At least from the response we know a wobbly mount seems to be a common enough issue to deserve an automatic response.

What is it, exactly, in that response makes you think it's automated, or that the issue is common? Serious question. Seems to me the poster got a personal reply from an actual human being in a timely fashion.

I looked up wobbly before but all I discovered was in relation to the mount. That they automatically responds about the mount when has an issue with the front shows they don't read and just go to the standard reply for the wobbly issue.

Well regardless of wether it's faulty or not it's going back I've already picked up the sports version like I should have done to start with much more well built and I can tell it's going to last unlike the c version
