Sigma 150-600 Sport vs Nikon 300mm 2.8+TC 2X?

Hi all.What are your thought on these two at 600mm?The nikon becomes a 600 5.6 at 600 with the Sport being 6.3.Of course there'll be no comparison at 300 but how about 600?Ive never used TCs so if you have any info it would be great.The Nikkor obviously being the much more expensive but (possibly) more versatile.Whichever I get it'll be used on a d810

i would go for the nikon 300 f2.8 with a tc17ii converter and crop the image to a 600mm field of view and it will beat the sigma.
imo my 300f4 and tc14ii cropped to 600mm field of view beats the sigma.

2X converters will knock your IQ probably too much,the 1.4 on the Nikon should be great but i have read even the 1.7 takes its toll on IQ.
