Also try not and go below 1/500th @500mm for now I am not saying you can't but its always best to try and stay above the focal length.

To get the exif to display in the picture, I process it in the Nikon NX-D beta, and convert it to jpeg of 1000 x 666 size. That preserves the original exif. I guess doing it in Nikon View NX2 would also have the same results.
