Use our online shutter counter app to track your Nikon camera shutter count. Easily track shutter actuation and ensure your equipment is always in top condition for stunning photos.
Here's a link to several methods. I tried the Photoshop view of exif data using one of your posted images. I couldn't find the shutter count, but it was a JPEG, and the link says it usually won't work with a JPEG. You might try it with a RAW file, if the other methods don't work.
Ron, are you uploading a full size image? If it's cropped or had its resolution lowered, it doesn't always work on that website. Those were the only times I couldn't get a shutter count.
THANKS ALL,
FOR SOFTWARE TO WORK, I SHOT IN JPEG, BASIC, AND SMALL.
INTERNET SEARCHES I DID, DID NOT MENTION SHOOTING IN JPEG.
YOUTUBE SEARCH WAS ABOUT 50-50 SHOOTING IN JPEG.
PATRICK M, @ 81 I NEED TO TYPE LOUD TO BE HEARD.
My method of checking is to post an unedited photo into Flickr and check the exif info.
It is easy enough to find it this way but, file from some cameras can lose the shutter count if they have been edited.
This works on my d850 and previously owned nikon dslr bodies.
