Shoulder Update

Hi.

Had surgery yesterday.

Typing one-handed.

Slept in recliner in 30-90 minute periods.

I am using Percosets, so I'm kinda in a fog. Sometimes I can't find the keys on this thing,

I don't know what's next. There was actually more damage than first thought. Rotator cuff was torn too.

Will call the doctor later.

So, I'm just sitting here fading in and out.

The surgeon actually wrote "NO" on my right shoulder and "YES" on my left shoulder......... MODERN SCIENCE!

Take care, and thank you.

Well, it's done now. Only thing to do is wait for the drugs to fade and the pain to go away. Hopefully ASAP.

Remember when I was younger and drug use was exclusively recreational... These days are long gone. Now the use is just to kill pain, no more fun. :)

It's freighting that they need to do that. It reminds me of the old carpenter proverb "Measure twice, cut once"

Get well soon!

Been there, done that. I had a "full-thickness tear" of my right rotator cuff repaired a few years ago and it was not fun. Sleeping was near impossible for a couple of weeks. Make sure you do the PT and you'll be glad that you had the surgery in the end. I lived with my injury for much longer than I should have.
