Congrats on ordering the 1.8g. I would have recommended that as well. It is even reportedly sharper than the 1.4g, but I plan to get the 1.4g just to have that added ability to render backgrounds out of focus. Both are outstanding lenses. I'm sure it will blow away any Nikon zoom lens in that range in terms of sharpness.
Should I buy an 85mm 1.8g or not?
