Shooting Star?

[Strange Brew]

This photo was taken last Friday. Was I lucky to catch a meteorite/shooting star. The green light isn't on any other photos taken from that location. There appears to be a trail from the light.

It's definitely not a shooting star, I'd put my money on it being lens flare from the bright light at street level below it. (Also if it's still in the air it is a meteor not a meteorite )

Whatever it is it is interesting. It has the color of Comet Lovejoy and the tail like Comet Panstarrs. But it also looks something like the tail off the rocket launches they did on the California coast. Cool capture whatever it is.

Thank you for the inadvertent heads up. This will be my third comet shot.

That's two new things I've learned. What a meteor is and lens flare. The replies where "enlightening" :encouragement:
