Setting to Keep Button Press Active

I think I saw a setting that allows one to set button controls to either stay on or be active only when pressed.

I've programmed my Fn2 button to Exposure Compensation. I have to hold the button down to make adjustments. I'd like to press the button once and release, make my adjustments, then press again to turn off.

I've gone through the manual and Photo Shooting Menu, Custom Settings menu and Custom Settings several times.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

On my Z6iii it's f7, Release button to use dial -> ON
