It's from a camera store they say that they are authorised dealer. I have warranty too.
But there is no return policy on the device they said. Nikon india and US policies vary in some terms and conditions they said.
I don't know... i just want my lovely Cam to work fully

I think the camera store just ripped you off. Please read the sales and warranty policies on the Nikon India page. The Nikon policy both for US and India is practically the same - Buy in the geographic location you are in, then and only then you will get warranty service. Where countries differ is in the extended warranty, but that is financed by the country specific Nikon distributors. In India it is 1 year warranty and another 1 year of extended warranty. My son used to buy photographic equipment from importers in Palika Bazar in Delhi. Though Niko did not warranty the products sold by them, they would take back any piece that was defective, without a murmur.
Now to online resellers.
When I inquired specifically, all I got from Nikon is that it is in the list online, and that has no online retailer. What I have found since is that all who sell Nikon, give the bill from an authorised retailer. I got my D3300 from Snapdeal, and got a bill from a dealer in Varanasi Dealer. Similarly I got the 35mm F1.8 DX from Flipkart, but the bill was from WS Retail, and both came with the Nikon India warranty card. Most online retailers accept returns, and all accept returns for defective material. In fact I have a funny experience. I ordered the Hoya 52mm UV filter from Flipkart for around Rs.829. Within two days Flipkart was selling it for Rs.748. So I promptly cancelled the order even though they had shipped it and ordered at new price. In the reason for cancellation I stated that their price reduced, and they accepted it. Here is a link to the sellers list

I suggest that you regularly scan Flipkart, Snapdeal and Amazon.in for prices and then order from who ever has the lowest price. For example I wish to buy the 300mmF4. Now that normally retails for RS.75000 to 78000, but once in a while Flipkart has it for Rs.63,000. If I were to buy, I would wait for that price and then order it.
