I wanted to get a closer look of the water .. but it's my new cam, and I didn't wanna risk anything

Nice shot..but I'd say just one thing..rule of thirds!

IDK, I dont find anything truely inspiring about the image, most of it is dark with a blue/ purple sky. Maybe a new perspective might have helped. Changing the angle of your shot by getting lower to the ground or higher up can do good things. In this case getting lower and maybe focusing on something on the ground in front of you might have done the trick.

Thanks alot for your response greatly appreciated.
The problem was that this was one of my first shots outdoors with the new gear.. Here in the middle east it's risky to take pictures of the streets with all the cops around.
It was a totally random shot.. and Ironically I read the rule about the thirds the same day when I got home
