Well it seems a certain time of the year my frog changes from a bright green to a dark green, or is this a different frog???

One thing that I am not happy with is the square catch light what is being created, looks like I need to start looking at a different diffuser set up.

There's a lot of women that would pay big money for "gold eyes". DO you usually use a tripod for shooting macro shots? Just wondering. Nothing wrong with your images. They look fantastic!

I am eyeing off the dedicated macro flash setups now as I am reaching my limits with my makeshift one.Don't care for this, just does look like it's alive in the eyes.

It's funny, I didn't notice the shape of the diffuser before but now that you said what is I see it. I wouldn't have noticed before. I like it but I like the one in the middle with the smaller catchlight, it's like it's sized appropriately for the frogs eyes. It's the one that looks like the diffuser that comes with the flash. I wonder what a Gary Fong type/style diffuser would look like. I have seen some people make them of household stuff, like a plastic bowl.
