Those two spider shots are great Scott, nice and sharp where it matters.
There is no exif data showing, what was the aperture you used ?

It can be frustrating when they won't face the lens, sometimes no matter what you try they will always face directly away from the camera.
I have luck at times by tapping the bottom of the leaf with my finger, they will spin around to see what is going on, sometimes you can get a shot before they turn back around, but other times they just won't play.

I was using f/22 the EXIF is on the Flickr shots but goes missing when linking here.

Here is a tip for all.

This is the same fern with the same settings.

The first I left as it was in the field.

The second I broke a bit of fern off and held it behind the fern, can you see the difference?
