Well went out this morning planning on a few macros before the wind picked up, unfortunately the wind picked up nice and early but I managed a few shots before giving up.

Yeah, early before the wind picks up makes a huge difference. I'll bet your 2:1 is tough with just a light breeze. Have you tried a 2x tc? I used one for a test and found it to allow for a further working distance than the Raynox but, the depth of focus dropped right off to just about nothing.

Might have to quit coming to this thread. For some reason or another it takes minutes to load.
